About this challenge
We run a simulator with a six-axis arm over a bin of mixed objects. Your job is the control policy: grasp an object, clear it, and do it again, without knocking the bin over or damaging what you are holding.
Scoring is throughput minus damage. A policy that picks slowly and gently will beat one that picks fast and breaks things.
We provide the simulator, the object set, and a baseline policy that is deliberately mediocre.
Rules
Teams of up to three.
You may train on any hardware. Submissions are evaluated on our machines against a held-out object set you have not seen.
